I saw this finger switch listed at the Alternate Modes site and it seemed to me to make heaps of sense.

Many of my synth/effects boxes have a momentary input jack to adanace you through the effect or patch chain, or to initiate the unit for patch editing.Normally this is done with a footswitch.

The fingerswitch moves this controll to the back of the synth/effect. This is a great thing for those with clumsy feet.

I happened to be in town near the electronic parts store and picked up a 1/4" jack and momentary switch for $2. Fifteen minutes after I got home I made my first working prototype ... very cool!
